Verification Process

Every business and worker can become Verified by submitting government-issued identification, trade license or civil ID for review by the Thakeel Trust team. Most reviews complete within 48 hours.

Listing Review Process

New listings from unverified accounts are reviewed within 4 hours. We check for duplicate machines, stock photography, suspicious pricing and category accuracy.

Fraud Prevention

We use device fingerprinting, behavioral signals and manual review to detect impersonation, fake listings and money-mule schemes. Suspicious accounts are suspended pending verification.

Reporting Abuse

Every listing, profile and message has a Report button. Reports are reviewed within 8 hours, faster for safety issues. Reporters remain anonymous.

User Safety

Always meet in safe, public locations to inspect equipment. Never share government IDs or payment credentials over chat. Thakeel will never ask for your password.

Scam Prevention

Common scams to watch for: overpriced "urgent" sales requesting wire transfer, fake "shipping companies" asking for fees, sellers refusing in-person inspection. If something feels off, report it.

Business Verification

Verified businesses provide: commercial registration, trade license, beneficial-owner identity, and a brief video call. The Verified badge is reviewed annually.

Worker Verification

Verified workers provide: civil ID / passport, professional license, certifications (e.g. CAT operator, NEBOSH), and at least one professional reference we can contact.
